Main Ingredients:

Purified Water (Aqua): The base of the solution.

Glycerin: Acts as a humectant to keep the skin inside the ear moisturized.

Propylene Glycol: A common solvent that helps dissolve earwax and debris.

Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract (Aloe Vera): Listed on the box as "Soothing Aloe," it helps calm irritation and redness.

Salicylic Acid: A mild acid that helps break down dead skin cells and wax, while also providing antimicrobial properties.

Lactic Acid: Helps maintain a healthy pH balance in the ear canal to inhibit the growth of bacteria and yeast.

Safety Notes & Precautions

1. Check the Eardrum First
The most important safety rule for any ear cleaner is: Do not use it if you suspect your pet has a ruptured (perforated) eardrum. If the liquid gets into the middle ear through a hole in the drum, it can cause permanent hearing loss or balance issues (vestibular disease).

Signs of a ruptured eardrum: Tilting the head to one side, stumbling, or sudden deafness.

2. Avoid Contact with Eyes
This solution is for the ears only. If it accidentally gets into your pet's eyes, flush them immediately with clean water or saline.

3. External Use Only
Do not allow your pet to ingest the liquid. While labeled "non-toxic," swallowing the cleaning agents can cause stomach upset.

4. Monitor for Irritation
If your pet’s ear becomes more red, swollen, or painful after application, stop using the product and rinse the ear with plain water. Your pet may have an allergy to one of the ingredients.

5. Do Not Use Deep Applicators
When applying, do not shove the tip of the bottle deep into the ear canal. Simply squeeze the liquid into the opening of the ear, massage the base of the ear to move the liquid around, and then let your pet shake their head to bring the wax out.

When to See a Vet Instead

If you notice any of the following, a cleaner may not be enough, and your pet likely needs prescription medication:

The ear is extremely painful to the touch.

There is a "yeasty" or very foul smell.

Discharge that looks like coffee grounds (a sign of ear mites) or yellow/green pus.

The ear canal looks swollen shut.
